steve: for instance yesterday i polished with menzerna, and my hood was FLAWLESS. i waxed etc....still good. then out of nowhere...there they are. it doesnt make much sense to me. im going to get a new slug of MF towels and see if that doesnt solve the problem. either way i think i need something more durable than NXT and #26...i think?

How soon after wax removal do they appear?

Are these lines visible in the sunlight but not under indoor fluorescent lights?

Judging by your process, towels used for wax removal could possibly be a problem. Have you check them by sliding across the back of a CD? If they are leaving lines on the CD, it will do the same on the clear coat.

visible under flourescent...not in sun. MF's are always freshly washed meguairs gold class MF's with tags removed.

BTW-Thanks STEVE for the upgrade to a UDM for my kit, kewl of you, you can never have to much power, even in a buffer!

ive only used zaino.. it is a bit of a bitch to apply and take off. but i guess its worth it

my vote for tropi-care, products and CS outstanding. Just did the 1/4 panel and look at the reflection from the street. My .02
