BTW - You're the one I was asking to post pics of the black spoiler on your silver car, right? Those pics didn't come out in the post when you replied (they were red x's). Would you mind posting them again? If they don't come out I can give you my email address in a PM to mail them to if you wouldn't mind.

^^^ very nice hood and all but i dont know if its the hood or the headlights but it lines up horribly around the lights and also in the middle where the front bumper meets the hood but i think thats because of the bumper itself. not trying to criticize but its what im noticing from the black car above.
they all sit on top of the bumper at the front of the hood. but there are several ways to fix this or correct it so that it flows ok.
1) you could trim the bumper and actually raise that center piece enough to line up.
2) raise it some and then put an emblem or something to fill the gap like i did. i used a firehawk badge i had laying around (polished the bird and cleared it)

Seriously, as was mentioned above by Raven02TA, there's a second layer to the hood where the water drains down to the front, onto and over the airbox near the windshield washer fluid container. The engine is safe. I've had my hood for 3-4 years on my daily driver (even in the snow...

I'm guessing that the issues were fixed...my hood came out perfect (minus the small overlap on the middle of the bumper, nbd), but I may have been a "lucky one" during the "issues" period (I bought it a few years ago)...?
