youll have to cut that bitch heavy and hard to get it perfect....if it doesnt get them out, but it should, if you have any real deep ones your gonna have to wetsand for the best possiblew outcome...just a regular 3 step polish (cutting compound, polish, then wax) will do the trick

now what are the dangers of porter cable it it possible to burn or even do it too much??
whats a cutting compound? like a conpound used in to sand with the porter cable??
well im thinking of buying the $161 tropi-care deal with the portercable. wondering if its enough for my car.

If you don't having any experience with buffing I would let somebody who does take care of it. You can seriously damage your damage your paint if you don't know what you're doing.

some of those look pretty deep, beyond the ability of the Porter Cable. A rotary in the hands of a professional can give you 100% swirl free.

Start with the Porter Cable and go from there. You would be surprised how much they can help. Even if you work on them with the PC and you still have to take it to a pro, the PC is still a good future investment.

Your pictures are a perfect example of how low lighting or overcast conditions really hides what is happening on the surface.

Everyone who begins by using a Porter Cable as a beginner or novice will realize that it takes time and experience to learn what the machine can do. The key is not to get frustrated or impatient during this learning process. Used correctly, it can remove about 80-90% of the surface blemishes using the right combinations of foam buffing pads and products. Once the surface has been buffed and polished to your desired level, future maintenance will be much easier to do.

The most visible scratch running diagonal in the top central area of picture #1 may be the most difficult to remove especially if your fingernail catches in the scratch. Typically the entire surface coating is only about 6/1000s of inch thick including to the base. That's about the thickness of 2 sheets of paper. Scratches or paint chips that are too deep to correct by wet sanding and polishing with a rotary, they may need to be addressed by touch up or repaint.

It is very difficult to to do any further damage to your paint short of dropping the machine on the surface. Its dual action performance to does not generate enough heat to do any clear coat damage even with cutting pads and rubbing compound combinations.

so nice detail shop and have the porter cable for use on the next detail witch should be easier since it will be in better shape.
yeah i can run my nail and i will feel the scratch
So what products and with what buffer do you guys use. like polishe, wax, cutting compound?

To remove the scratches, you will need to use a polishing compound. After that, you can follow up with a glaze and wax. For the scratch you can feel with your nail, you may not be able to totally remove it but you certainly can make it look a lot better!
