I have clear lt1 lenses on my TA. The reason I can get away with it is because the LT style lenses has a reflector strip at the bottom and it is red. Oh and I have a set of LS1 tails I don't use because the reflective material inside is gone. Anyone wants them PM me I will give them away. They have been collecting dust for 3 years now.

tailight

back in the early and mid 60s cadillac had cars with clear lense tailights
and red bulbs . look it up .

I dont think the cops could give you any crap about them not being red. There are SEVERAL cars out now that don't have red lenses (eclipse off the top of my head is one). As long as you put red LED's in them, I think you would be fine. I would DEFINITELY buy a set if anyone gets this figured out. Subscribing!
