Does anyone have the pin on sunoco hood? And how much of a pita is to take it off and on?

the hood that came on on the dick harrel cars. kinda a rounded off version of a cowl hood.

Dont get a pin on hood unless you are a hardcore racer. The fit of the bolt on version is so nice why pin it on... let alone have you even had to deal with pulling a hood off by yourself???? Not so fun. Been there made that mistake.

For the record, VFN is the company that makes the Sunoco hood, and their hoods weigh like 20 pounds. You can lift the hood off with one arm. No joke.

I never found taking the hood off to be too difficult, they weigh so little. The difficult part is picking your hood up off your neighbors lawn when you forgot to put the pins back in

yah i want one to buy....Dragaholic is local to me and I seen his. The car had one on it before we bought it and it looked killer! i want one but damn a 4 week turnaround LOL im impatient

I think you should get the pin-on, because then I can come steal it and bolt it to my car!!!! But seriously, I know the idea of being able to take your hood off sounds cool at first, but you'll be pissed when you forget to put the pins back in or you **** someone off and they pull them for you. There's nothing like watching a $600 hood with a $400 paintjob catching 50 feet of air while you tool along the highway.
