Painted the FAST intake

Damn this took forever!!!!! but happy with the results!!!... i took the pictures during the night so its not the best pictures... you just really have to see it in person!!!

i really liked the way this looked... Flat black!!! looked good but i just need the shine!!!

this is when i spraied the glossy black and without the red lettering

and this is the final result!!! i'll post up pictures once its installed...

the red is going to look really good under my hood... since i already have some red trim... i'll post up some pix of it installed later on the week

How did you get the FAST to come out in red? Is it an emblem you can take off or somethin? Looks really good man!

I like it better glossy black with the red lettering. Goes good with the color of the car.

Paints the entire intake black, then goes over the FAST logo with an art pen (has a wider tip to it).

I did this exact same color combo on my intake and it looks awesome...

every one that we have installed we have painted black. Just use a good plastic paint, since the material used to make these intakes is naturally oily and causes the paint to flake off. But it definitely looks better in black!

I painted the whole thing then got one of those touch up pens and when over it with the red... it was a bitch because it drys up quick and leaves strings like... hair... if you used them before you know what im talking about
