Default Polishing Coil Pack Brackets

As the title states, has anyone done it, and if you have...... Was it an easier polish, or one of those nightmares that takes hours and still doesnt look how you'd like it? I currently painted my packs and brackets gloss black and its too much for me so i'm thinking about stripping the paint and polishing them now. Let me know how it went if you've done it and maybe some pics as well! Thanks!

The paint on the brackets is a PITA to get off! I'd just paint them or powdercoat 'em.

I say leave them black. It makes it look so much cleaner. Who wants some flashy coil brackets anyways. They would just standout like a sore thumb with everything else on the car black.

The coil brackets are made of steel, so if you polish them you need to also clear coat them or they will rust

There is a lot of shiny polished stuff in there as well Mike, i figured it would break it up a little better becuase as it sits there is gloss black coil packs on gloss black brackets on gloss black valvecovers next to a gloss black intake with polished fuel rails.

You'd probably have to post a pic to better clarify to people b/c that seems like a lot of gloss black

Eastwood has a powdercoat color called reflective chrome that comes out more like polished aluminum. That could be an option if you really want the shiney look.

^^I like that. I did my brackets silver & my coil packs red after seeing this a while back. I wasn't about to waste money on the MSD coils, so paint was the nest best option. I think they look alot better when they stand out.

Yous would look great in red w/either silver, polished or chromed brackets. It'would accent all the black very nicely.
