Halo (angel eye) headlight pics
Just one complaint about these lights and that is the weather striping. The stuff was coming off before the lights were out of the box.

Re: Halo (angel eye) headlight pics
Hey, I get that all the time! No biggie... I usually just let them continue thinking I am a guy.
Thanks for the compliments. I am definately looking for something to fix the weather striping. Someone else told me just to get more 2 sided tape but I don't think it will hold.

Zangel,
Mine were the exact same way out of the box. I ordered some 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape, this is supposed to be some strong stuff - high heat resistance and water resistance (A lot stronger than the 3m moulding tape at Walmart). Its actually used as an OEM replacement so hopefully it will work out. Tug on the stock weather stripping, its really on there - just imagine those get ripped off at 140+ mph.
I should be receiving it this week (had to order it online), I'll post back and let you know if this is the solution.

Those are bad a$$ headlights! Where did you get them? Who all makes them? Ive never seen those before, actually Ive never seen any aftermarket headlights! How long have they been out? How much were they? The weather stripping issue youre talking about...is that the seal around the headlight itself? If so, whats wrong...its coming off? Thanks

I got the headlights off of ebay. You can search for Camaro headlights and they should pop up. You can get the lights in chrome or black background. The only company that sells them at this point is:

However, they are cheaper on ebay!

Those look cool, definitely!
I think it'd be better if the halo was around the high-beam light, cuz that way you could have the low-beams and the halo on at the same time.
But either way, it's a definite improvement over stock headlights.

Re: Halo (angel eye) headlight pics
What is the whole deal with the Halo ring/light? Im totally lost! Is it the light in the center? When does it come on? How do you turn it on? Does it come on when the headlights come on or the high beams? From your pic, it looks like the middle light is only shinning, are the regular lights on or just the "Halo"? They dont stay on all the time do they? They go for $229 from Matrix Racing, how cheap can you get them from Ebay? Sorry for all the dumb questions. Thanks

Re: Halo (angel eye) headlight pics
No question is a dumb question...lol..sometimes that is. :p I've seen them on Ebay for $182. You can wire the "halo" LEDs however u like. To a switch or wire them in with ur Parking lights. If u wire them into ur Parking lights then whenever they are on then ur "halo's" are on. I'm thinkin about wiring mine to a different switch all together. So I have control of when they come on. The "halo" area and the outermost are acutally the low beams and the inner most cirlce is the High beam. So u actually have 2 holes where the low beam light comes from. It looks sweet too. just my $.02 . Well I'll jet for now. laterz Justin

Re: Halo (angel eye) headlight pics
But $182 is just the starting bid, how much does it actually end at? Matrix Racing is the only place that you can get them from? Another dumb question, but is the parking lights the low beam headlights or the turn signal lights that stay on all the time. (daytime running lamps) If they are on all the time as the lights below the headlights, I dont want them to be wired like that. I dont feel that there is a purpose for having those on in the day. Actually, I want to wire them up seperately, so at night whenever I want to play or whatever, I can turn them on and off. How would you wire them up seperately? Are they able to do it that way or is there a specific way to do it? Is it a hazard to do it seperately? Thanks
