Re: Halo (angel eye) headlight pics
But $182 is just the starting bid, how much does it actually end at? Matrix Racing is the only place that you can get them from? Another dumb question, but is the parking lights the low beam headlights or the turn signal lights that stay on all the time. (daytime running lamps) If they are on all the time as the lights below the headlights, I dont want them to be wired like that. I dont feel that there is a purpose for having those on in the day. Actually, I want to wire them up seperately, so at night whenever I want to play or whatever, I can turn them on and off. How would you wire them up seperately? Are they able to do it that way or is there a specific way to do it? Is it a hazard to do it seperately? Thanks

Tiff, how would you compare the build quality of these lights to the stock ones? Besides that weather strip issue, is the plastic just as sturdy, well built, leak-proof, etc..? How well did they fit during installation?
I think the black ones would look good on my SS LE.

Those look sweet! Can someone post some more pics of what the black ones look like compared to the chrome ones once they are installed?
Very nice.

The lense is OEM quality but the way the bulb mounts in was kinda loose. After they were put on and the car got washed, they did not leak so I don't think that should be a problem. They are the same size as the original lights so the fit is the same.
My Halo is wired up to the parking light (small 194 bulb). This allows for the lights to come on anytime the parking lights are active.

Anyways, back to the topic... The headlights come with bulbs so you don't have to worry about buying any. The only thing you have to do is take the lights out of the box, unscrew the old headlights from the bracket, take the old headlight out and slide the new one in. Plug in the bulbs to the factory connectors and wire up the halo. Screw the bracket back on and adjust the lights and you are done! You might notice when adjusting the lights that the beam is a bit off. Come to find out the bulbs move around alot in there. Still trying to figure out a way to make the bulb a bit more stable. If anyone else figures it out, let me know!
