That's really 35% on the sides? It looks darker than that.

I now have 35% on the sides, and it looks that dark in some angles/light. The tint guys were really hesitant when I went in trying to decide between 15% and 20%, saying they have a lot of guys come back with tickets in this area, but very few get ticketed with 35%. There was another guy there getting his 15% removed (ticket) and getting 35% put on.

I got a ticket when I had 20% last year, and 35% is MUCH better than nothing.

I'm just hesitant since some guys on here say 35% is almost pointless. I've had 20% on the T/A I just sold for about 4 years and it was perfect. I'm just about to move to KS where the limit is 35% all around. That being said I'm thinking of 20% on the back window and 35% on the side windows...easier for the cops to check your side windows with their light sensor thing than my back window which is stationary. That being said do you guys think the 20/35 combo would still be decently dark? I have a fixed roof so no glass top to let light in either.

Yeah its 35% like said it looks darker at some angles, and it was overcast that day. It isnt much but its better than clear. If it were legal here, i would have at least 20%

Move to Texas. J/K I don't hear so much that you get haggled. Thankfully my 5% hasn't given me any trouble the past 6 years!

Since you guys know about tinting, can stock tint have "runs" in it?

Also, did these cars come tinted from the factory? If so, what's the RPO code?

Sorry for the hijack...

no not tinted form factor. well not a good tint. most auto glass is tinted a 73%. which sucks.

hey what do you all pay for the tint. post price and city, state

sioux city, iowa
$150.00
5% rear, 15% doors, 5% tint strip
