did any of you guys shave the top inner part of the valence say at a 45 degree angle or so to give it a more flush fit to the bumper? just wondering bc im installing mine this weekend and i didnt know if ne one has tried that. does that make sense??

yea im going to try to get my tips flush with the valence like that picture but i was talking about the valence being flush with the bumper above it, i may not worded that clearly no big deal

Mannnnn! I just put my Magnaflow catback on last week and I thought those tips looked good! I can see myself finding a way to do a CME with my magnaflow catback and put the tips away for storage in the future

Three things though:
1) the SLP units have a slight curve to the face of them that allow them to match the contour of the valence.
2) the inlets on those tips will be firing straight back toward the gas tank. It might make it hard to get them mounted
3) the SLP units have a brace that connects them in the middle.
Just some things to think about if you are planning on revising the designs at all.
