I'm a WWII nut, and that car is bad-***. I had actually just gotten out of the Army and was stationed in the old "Flying Tigers" Apache unit as a crewchief at Fort Bragg. Still, no paint job will beat good 'ol SOM...

I kinda like it. I wouldn't do it myself, but I like it. A lot better then others. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure:

I was waiting for the shark car to pop up. The rest just belong in the cheesy car thread. Although many took time and effort, they just look hideous. Still dont mind the "flying tiger" though for a show car.

Mike Alsop was at the LSX shoot out along with his daughter and the whole crew, he is a great guy, good personality. That car has an entire speaker system mounted underneath the car right under the gas tank. His and his daughter's T/A ran good times. I was there when Warren Johnson signed the underneath of Mike's hood.

That car is awesome. It's a show car/drag car for all of you hatin' on it. How you can say it was a waste of time/money is retarded, because you know damn well if someone said that to you about your car you'd freak the f' out .

If I had the extra money/extra car I would have something wild like that just for the hell of it.

Now the shark car is cool except for the fin/rear end. That would be an awesome scheme for a pure race car.

I kinda like it but I would never do that to one of my cars. Most people won't see the similarity to military aircraft. They will just see the big shark mouth/eyes and think it looks stupid.
