Default Project Flyenlow: Before and After

Well the project is almost done. The car's been off the road for almost 3 months, it's gone through a bunch of changes, motor and trans being the biggest. I upgraded from my 3.4 V6 and T5 to a built LT1 and T56.

This project started back in June 07' when I bought a wrecked Anniversary Z28 in hopes to convert my car to a V8. The blood, sweet and agony are immeasureable. Thanks go to my friends and gf who have put up with my terrible ADD and devotion of almost all my time to make it so that I'm happy with my work. (zlover 129 and MOE_TAWS6)

This is a link to a thread I made about the swap:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post8886291

Upgraded to a TA hatch:

Upgraded the rear drums to LS1s, also painted the wheel wells:

Also upgraded the fronts to LS1s:

This was the engine bay and underside before, with the V6:

MANY hours of work, many cans of primer, paint and truck bed liner coating:

looking good! I know this is an LT1 not LS1 but how hard is it to swap from the V6? I'm considering swapping my V6 3.8L out for an LS1 at some point.

I appreciate the replys fellas. A lot of work has gone into the project, it's nice to know I've done something right. haha.

Although initially I wanted to do a LS1 swap, the price of it in relation to the work I've done would've been 2x's as much.

Halfway through the project my friend and I pondered about the 98+ Formula front end, but again, price was a major factor. Granted I could've sold my front end parts and cut some of the overhead down, it just wasn't worth it. (even though my hood's clear coat is coming off and the fenders and hood/headlight covers don't match because I got into a wreck a few years back, oh well)
