yes.. if you disconnect the wires the TC will be off all of the time, so if you want TC you would need to extend the wires...

The cables tuck under the cowl very well.
Even if you can get shortened cables, it's easier to use a cable fastener.

Can you just unplug and delete the TCS all together or does it mess up anything with the pcm.

The ASR/TCS light stays on and you will lose cruise control if you unplug the unit.
Also, you're going to have to get a cable from a non-TCS/ASR car to replace your existing cable.

Have any of you had problems with the cruise control not working good after you did this mod. I have but maybe I just don't have the module secure enough. Any ideas??

Mine has been done for a long time NOT 1 PROBLEM! You can even keep your TCS if you make the wires long enough to plug back up. Cruise control works the same!

Even Justin (stangkilr) did it to his car

I can confirm the cruise control still works properly even without the TCS module plugged in.

^^^yes, it will. cruise control is its own seperate module and has nothing to do with the TCS module other than sharing the piece to control the throttle cable

Default Wire Length

Could anyone tell me approx how much longer the TCS/ASR wires need to be extended if you already have the wire mod done?
