What % tint should i get

i went 5% on the sides, back and t-tops. its a little dark at night so you will become real good at parking without looking. but its looks bada$$ so its up to you. check state laws and then do it any way.
Its personal choice... 15% seems to be the best overall for darkness and most cps wont harrass you eaither. 5% is hard to see out of at night and cops will harrass you, but it will keep u the coolest and you cant see in from another car...
Last night i was sitting in a parking lot with 2 other friends, a cop rolled up and the first thing he said was "you guys have legal windows" he got out of his car and checked all are windows with his tint machine. We all had legal tint but they will harrass you, this was in MO.(its 35% in MO.), i have also gotten a ticket in IL. (No tolerance in IL.)
2.5% looks bad *** but I dont recommend it on a dd or a car drvin at night often. i had 5% on back 20% on front it was perfect till my dad got pulled and didnt put down the windows. ( i should of drove to school that day regret it ever since)
Ive got 30% on mine right now, it's not very dark. I dont like it, but it's the legal limit here. I plan on re-doing em at a darker shade. Im thinking 15 or 20%, not sure need to see what 20% will look like. The city cop's dont seem to bother you around here, ive seen many car's with dark tint driving around. It's really the State Trooper's that are dick's about it here.

Tru that. I have 5% on back and 20% on sides right now. No cop here in IL has messed with me yet *crossing fingers* I think you will be happy with the 5 on back and 15-20 on sides. Good luck and post up them pics. Do the tint quick cause you can't roll your windows down for a week and that sucks in the spring/summer.

I'd be scared to even go darker than 35% with the side windows, cause I got my first ticket last month for having 35% tint on the sides, yet the officer metered it at 24%. 35% is the legal limit here too. I think he was just trying to meet his quota or whatever.
One of my good friends does tinting and is one of the best IMO. Anyway he used to tint windshields for a select few people but he quit by choice because one of his customers wrecked and almost died because he couldn't see out of his Ford Lightning. Never once did this customer actually blame my friend and say it was his fault because it was his choice to tint it but it still left a bad taste in my friend mouth since he felt bad.
