installed some HID's on a buddys t/a
by the time the kit was said and done there was only 2 wires to be cut.. everything else was plug and play.. relay and all.. hooked up to the battery post by the fuse box and a chassis ground..
anyways i'll let the pics do the talking.. the first pics are with my old *** 1.3 mp kodak..

My truck on the left with the 10000k's and nicks car on the right with the 6000k's

oh yeah date stamp is definetly off a tad.. LOL
these are with his camera to show up close and light cut off..

what ya'll think..
Also, perfect example of higher K temp and lower light output in the pic with the 10000k and the 6000k.
I like the color though.
if you look at the pic against the wall theres not much glare at all.. the pics side by side were before when he still had them aim's way high to be able to see with the old stockers..
I guess if he aimed them down, maybe its not too bad. Unfortunetly, after you get done aiming them down to where they dont glare on other drivers, the light pattern and amount of light that goes down the road gets crappy. When I experimented with HIDs in regular housings, I had to have them aimed so low that it was hard to see.
however that was just my experience with them. He should check out some E-Code housings. Like real ones not ones that just say "euro" on them. They produce a cut off more than a regular housing. I have a set on my jeep and they are fantastic with halogens. Ide like to see how the HIDs look in them...I think others have done it before.
