Just wondering what company is the best to buy the sunoco smooth cowl hood from?

There is only one company that makes it and that would be the best to get it from. VFN Fiberglass

I bought mine from Fast Toys Performance. Shipped fast and great customer service, I would rec them based on my experiance. They are a sposer here and may have them on sale still.

ebay hoods fit like sh*t, the one from fast toys is just a cowl hood, I say like everyone else go with VFN.

ebay hoods generally have bad fitment issues but I guess you could be the guinea pig and let us all know.

People are buying those ebay sunoco hoods almost every auction that guy has ends with buy it now but i cant bring myself to buy one

my friend got one off of ebay, fit fine, but i'm sure each one is different. either way, a body shop could do any of the trimming.

I recently purchased the hood from eBay. It just arrived at the body shop so we'll see how it fits and looks very soon.

The underside of the hood is basically crap. It's gonna take a lot of blocking and sanding, but I think it will come out ok.

Pros: No 5 week wait for a VFN piece
Cons: Not finished at all and part isn't even gel coated on the bottom
Medians: Price when finished will be a little cheaper than a VFN piece finished

I will see how fitament is next week.

what're you guys using to search for the Sunoco on ebay? the only one i find appears to be someone selling the VFN hood (even uses VFN's pictures in their auction)
