Default Help needed with Detail

so i was washing my t/a that i bought recently this winter and noticed that on the bottom of the drivers side skirt there is yellow paint spattered all over. The previous owner must have ran over a wet painted street line. So i was wondering what would be the best way to get the yellow paint off the bottom of the side skirt. It's on there pretty good but i could chip a little off with my fingernail.

thanks guys.

A Clay bar should be able to take care of that without a problem. You'll have to wax the car afterwards as the clay bar will take everything off.

if clay bar doesnt work, which it should...there are a lot of products you can find at an auto store that will take it off. i use this stuff called xenit but i get it from work so i dont know if it's sold in stores or not.

You'll find a clay bar with the detailing supplies in Autozone, Wal-mart etc..
the clay bar will take all containments off the vehicle for a very clean feel and take off what you can't see before you wax. It'll also take previous wax off the car. Make sure you follow directions and keep the car wet when you use the bar. Also if you drop it throw it away because you'll get tiny rocks or particles on the bar that might scratch the car. Will make the car look 100% better before waxing it.

Just like everyone has said try the claybar. You can also try some rubbing compound.

if the chunks are big clay bar-ing them off will be a pain. I worked at a dealership and we used a paint safe body prep solvent to get that stuff off, the best way I found to get the road paint off was to soak a rag with the solvent and hold it again the paint for about a minute and they would come off really easily. Then rinse and wax area. Someone will probably say its not a good idea but I did it several times with no ill effects. Just my experience.
