the ICE paste is good stuff, i use it on the carbon fiber on both of my ducatis,, the liquid ICE stuff on the other hand is total ***. hard to buff out and leaves streaks everywhere. lasts forever though

Thats weird there are all kinds of reactions. Some say it last for a while and others say its short, some say it leaves residue and others love the shine. I guess its different for everyone. Like I said I bought it and used it that day so it wasn't yellow or anything, idk I'll check when I go home and see what it looks like now.

IMO like was said before, it leaves a great gloss for a carshow, or pictures. However, i think of it more as a detailer than a true wax. You have to use the stuff after every other wash.
If you want the best of both worlds go get 3m Performance finish. Although it does leave white residue, i did mine in direct sunlight. There is no haze time, you put it on, and wipe it off. The shine is UNBEATABLE.

I bought ICE quick detailer and i wasn't a fan. It left a lot of streaks. I liked the original Meguiars detailer much better. And the Meguiars claybar is an amazing product! I've used it on 2 vehicles now and wont ever use any other!

Why not just go with the mother clay bar kit? Here are a few pics of my Z28 using mothers clay bar and Meguars wax, these were done early today! Deleted grandsport stripes and added a BITVIPER antenna. Car has 32k miles and have been using the same products since its had 11k.....Iam happy and dont see a need to change what I'm doing!

What I do is mother claybar, nxt paste wax, and then pink wax over it. gives my car a great shine for that 10 minutes until the dust gets all over it
Had a real bad experience with ICE though more then once.

use your clay bar and wax and make it a 4 hour detail job when you can get the same shine in an hour with ICE paste wax and a micro fiber towel
i liked the wax so much i bought the ice car wash too. believe it or not the car wash is really really sudsy and is the best soap ive ever used. my dad use to buy meguiars gold class all the time and it wasnt half as sudsy on the paint as the ice car wash

Scroll up I explained why I didn't like it clearly if you could read... left alot of residue on my car to the point where it left a film... using the product turned the "hour with ICE paste wax and a micro fiber towel" into a 4 hour job practically to just get all the junk off... and to the shine I really like. Wish I had pictures of my car after a good wash and wax, but I never pull the camera out after it usually a day or so after when the dust settles on it.

its advertised as a wax that removes the old wax build up. im pretty sure the wierd residue you have from the first session was old wax that was really hard to get off. after i washed and re waxed the car i never had a problem again with the oily residue. my new nbm camaro didnt really have any wax on it to begin with so the first coat of ice didnt have those oily spots
