Default I just Bought the Meguiars Clay bar kit and ICE wax, Results?

Anyone tried this clay bar kit or the new ICE wax. The claybar kit is a Meguiars clay bar kit with a 16oz quick detailer, 2 50 gram claybars, 4oz cleaner wax, and a nice microfiber towell. The Turtle wax ICE synthetic paste polish comes with the polish, a nice microfiber towell, and a pretty good size aplicator pad. I have never claybarred the car before, so hopefully i will have good results. I have also never used this wax before. I have been using the Meguiars NXT with good results, but i had trouble with it getting between cracks and on the rubber. I always manage to somehow. This ICE wax says it leaves no powdery residue and is safe on platic/rubber surfaces. Hopefully it shines pretty good too. Does anyone have anything to say about either of them. Any Results?

Here is a pic of my results, Looks as good as my Meguiars NXT wax I used last year.

Ive used the ICE quick detailer spray and i think it works great. And it dosent leave a resadue or powdery dust. But ive always used mothers clay bars but I assume their all about the same, the clay bar if used right will leave your cars finish baby *** smooth!

Yeah, I have used the ICE quick detailer before too. It did work great, so I am eager to try the wax.

ICE detailer is a waste of money, go for the Clay Bar Kit!

I used the ice wax on my Z. Didn't want to put down the $50 for the claybar when I did it so I just got the wax and I really liked it, it made the paint so smooth. I had used the NXT wax before and it worked good but the one time I used it on my Z it didn't do as good of a job as the Ice did. I also waxed my dad's GMC Sierra with the Ice and it worked really good on there too. Can't wait to use it on my SS when I get it out as soon as school is over.

The ice detailer works pretty good. The shine of ice wax is nice but it does not last as long as NXT.

Did you think the ice made it smoother than the NXT or was that just me?

It's been so long since I have used the ice wax. It does give a nice shine and it does appear smooth for a few days. I don't remember if it was smoother or not.

Alright its cool. Yeah I used the NXT on the Z when I first got it too so that could also be maybe why it wasn't as smooth, but I liked the ice.

I have ice wax too and a friend who details on the side told me not to use it, he used it and it turned the clear coat a yellowish tint after a few uses.

Note i would not use it on old pant job or cars with no clear coat. I also notice in cooler weather its not so great. Its hard to get it off the car and leave shadow swirls. I like using the ice polish in the sun one part at a time it makes it a work easier and now shadow swirls. I have used it on my car about 10 times and in the pics you see that is a 108,000 miles on that paint job
