I won't doubt the product is good on lighter cars... my friend uses it on his silver camaro and other buddy uses it on his white one... turns out great, but on my black car turns out real bad.

ditto on the cold weather part. the heat actually makes the cars paint look "wet" since it is a synthetic wax

nbm has about the same level of **** you off factor as black does. swirl marks drive me insane and the fact i have to dust the car every hour to keep it clean drive me insane, that being said the ice does give a really glossy shine to it

i wash and wax on a weekly basis over summer so it isnt a big deal to me. sometimes i will lay on a coat of black magic ultra gloss over it to give it a really deep shine

You're supposed to avoid waxing in the sun at all costs

the paste and car wash solution work great in my opinion. the liquid wax products seem to be a waste of money.

if i wax at night it tends to leave smears even under the spot lights i cant get it 100% perfect. i usually have to drive to a gas station to make sure i didnt leave any smudges. why do it at night on a black car? you dont get to enjoy it at all. half the fun is getting to see everything in the reflection

And the softer your paint is while applying it which means much more prone to swirls and blemishes, i'll just stick with good ole NXT, not worth the extra money for such mixed reviews and i sure as hell am not waxing my car in the sun.

I did have a film on the car after I used this ICE wax. All I had to do was to get several clean microfiber clothes and go back over the car with them. It took all the residue off and looks brilliant! It just takes some extra work to get the stuff off and continually use clean (wax free) microfiber cloth's.

i used the meguiars clay kit once, it didn't pick up really any of the contaminants out of the paint. the next time i grabbed a claybar, i bought clay magic since their clays have always worked well for me.

the paste is suppose to last 2-3 weeks. the liquid only lasts for about one week

i reccomend ice as teh pre wax. you can do a coat of it in about an hour then go over it with your favorite sealer

So you've done the liquid ice first and then like NXT or something else over it?
