Default sticky stuff after debadging

i yanked the badges off my tahoe and still got a little bit of sticky stuff remaining that i gotta get off tmrw and was wondering what the best product to use to get this crap off. the vehicle is black and need to use something soft on it to keep from leaving marks.

WD-40, Goo-Gone, 3M Adhesive Remover will all get rid of the residue. You will have to re-polish the area especially with black.

3m adhesive remover would be safe if i used a micro fiber? can u get it at autoparts stores?

3M Adhesive Remover, no questions asked. I've done this about 10 times, and it's the correct product for the job. After you're done, clay and re-wax the areas were the emblems were.

That stuff works great. It took tar and rubber off the side of my old white cutlass. Also, I used Acetone, when I took my stock emblems off. It worked very well.

i got everything cleaned off good, now i have a "halo" around where all the badges were, gonna have to get it buffed.
