Default Stripping wax from black trim pieces...

I rescently waxed my car using some cheap turtle wax, and got some wax on my trim pirces. It left ugly white streaks on them. Looks really nasty compared to the black pieces.

I cant seem to get them off either. Used dish soap, used rubbing alcohol.
No effect. Any way to get rid of the white streaking on my black trim pieces?

Peanut butter. I'm not kidding. The oils help dissolve the wax and pull it off.

Yep, peanut butter will work. As strange as it sounds.

i use a tooth brush and detailer spray. if that doesnt work, "back to black" by mothers works very well.

The toothbrush was the single best invention in detailing a car. I couldn't live without mine.

in my opinion, back to black is one of the worst detailing products on the market.

try a little all purpose cleaner and a toothbrush.. if that doesn't work, then peanut butter and a toothbrush will, and the peanut butter won't damage your plasitc trim ont he long run, while back to black will. It will eventually turn your plastic white and chalky.
