Default Rectractable License Plate?

Ok, so ive just started looking into this. Since i know, some of the State Trooper's around here are dick's, and will stop you for not having your plate. I do however have it on my dash, so he can only give me a warning. Since it's visable, but i still dont wanna bother having to pull over, just so he can give me a warning lol

I saw this on YouTube. I like it, but it would be awhole lot better if it was motorized to do the same exact thing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GuD_...eature=related

Are there any motorized rectractable plate's that do this exact thing?? You know, come out and flip right up.

Ummm... he can give you more than a warning. He can ticket you for improper display/mounting.

I don't know of a motorized one like that. I made one that uses ball bearing sliders and actually retracts completely under the car (doesn't have the plastic sticking out). I have ONE left if you want it PM me...

If I had a Trans-Am I'd try to make the plate pop out/swivel out from the bird-plate

I would post a link... but I'm sure I can't since they are probably not a sponsor....

but Google "altec retracting license plate holder" and you will find the product in the youtube video.

It seems to be the best solution for this problem.

If a man was to make something like this, that required nothing more than drilling a few holes and a little wiring, what would it be worth?
