Thoughts on this extended nose TA.

Ah my good friend, one in the same, one in the same. It will reduce the size of the cars wake which reduces drag. Not only will the engine have to work less to maintain the same speed, but it will allow the car to accelerate quicker at high speeds and also improve it's top speed. All while reducing lift.

ya, but at normal day to day driving speeds, this is so minimal it at most might save you an extra couple miles/gallon. when i finally get mine together it will be removable and i'll only really use it at the track when i see straightaway speeds in triple digits. other f-body guys that do ORR and have a diffuser really only noticed the aerodynamic differences at 190+. yes it will help at lower speeds, but not a whole lot. and with air ride on your car it's (to me) obviously not a track car or ORR car to need that extra umph, speed, and aero?
i understand what you're saying and where you're coming from on it and i agree...it's just to what extent or what point i guess i'm questioning? bc at typical driving speeds it really doesn't do that much

You also don't want to stop roll, just control it.
I do like my 550 lb springs and GC coil over conversions, but there's just no way to control ride height with the push of a button. I did come up with a hydraulic solution that lets you use springs and shocks and still adjust ride height, but I ruled it out due to a few reasons.
You can check my threads on them it you want more details.

if you want a longer nose, just do an 93-97 front end swap IIRC the LT1 front end is 4 inches longer than the LS1 and the majority of it is in the nose (and some in the fenders)

I cleaned up and restored this thread. Please keep it clean and somewhat on topic. Since this thread was about elongating the nose for improved aerodynamics and fuel economy its not that much of a stretch to discuss other aerodynamic tweaks.
