when to havefog lights come on
not sure if these are really options but these are what i am thinking due to not having the foglight switch.
1 wire them to the power for high beams, when the high beams are on the fogs are also
2 wire them to the power for low beams, when the low beams are on the fogs are also
3 wire them to both so that when the headlights (high or low) are on so are the fogs
4 wire them to the running lights so they are on when ever any lights are on
option 4 is the most appealing option for me. Right now i dont have any wire to run for a switch or the switch itself.
any one else have opinions
In some areas, it's Illegal to drive with them on, especially in the city areas.
Maybe you'd better look into your local laws first?
On my camaro I can turn them on with just the DRL's, low beams, and even high beams....also my high beams and low beams come on at the same time with the foglights....
I lost the link to the original webpage. But luckily I saved it on my computer. I uploaded it for you in case you were interested. Here's the link:

i think most laws say you can only have a certain amount of forward lights which is why your fog lights turn off when you hit your high beams. im pretty sure its not illegal to drive with your fog lights on when its not foggy. thats just retarted yet so are tint laws, so who knows
FWIW i have some new bulbs in there that, while the same wattage as stock, seem a lot brighter than the stock ones that were in there...
