I'm still torn....
For example, on the speedo function, how long is this delay?
Is it a few seconds, or something really small?
Thanks.

I have a Scanguage II, and I like it. There is a slight delay in the speed reading, but I have found that it is accurate. My factory speedometer is about 3 MPH slow, while the Scanguage seems to be right on. I mounted it on the ash tray, using velcro. I also bought a new plate where the TCS switch is. I got the one that has 2 openings (the other is for a convertible top switch. I then ran the cable thru the extra opening in the plate, giving it a much cleaner looking install.[IMG][/IMG]

No, I purchased it about a year ago. But check on the Scanguage website http://www.scangauge.com/ . The new ones have additional readings, including transmission temperature, if the vehicle is equipped with a sensor that monitors it. I can send mine in, and for $25 get it upgraded. According to the website, newly purchased units have all the available features that I would need to send mine in for.

The display can show your "instant" MPG, or you can go into the information and it will tell you the MPG for today, yesterday, and since last fill-up. Included is a connector that plugs into your OBDII connection under the dash.

The new ones have what they call an xgauge. It will hold 24 more gauges that you program and yes it will do knock retard, transmission temp, estimate hp and torque, barometer, a/f, and lots of other stuff. Im not sure yet how many of these work on our cars but I have ordered one so i will find out soon.
It will also scan codes.

scan gauge 2 is basically a toy. its kind of worthless. I have had one in my car for about 3 weeks. Found out its mpg is off about 1-2mpg on average for trips. the water temp is cool...ait is nice... rpm is way to slow to even consider using as a live feedback, i only look at my max to see where im shifting in relation to my tach. the instrument is delays about a second or more.
