All good things must come to an end.. Farewell Y2K SS.... With a mixture of joy and sadness I said farewell to my 2000 SS today. Its off to its new home in upstate NY where hopefully it will recieve the TLC it derserves. Ive throughly enjoyed my time owning it and I appreciate the fact that it is the car that brought me "back into the hobby". Ive learned a LOT from the car and i have met a TON of great people (present company included).
Besides a leaky pinion the SS never gave me an ounce of trouble, Its mods exceeded my expectations and I was proud to take it to the various events. He will be missed but not forgotten. I plan to take the lessons learned and apply them to my new project. With a bit of luck my 69 will someday accomplish what my 2000 did.

For real though, it is sad to see it go. That beautiful engine bay was set as my background for some time.

Its sad to see it go but its not like it was going UP in value so the time was right..
Funny story on that Mustang.. the buyer paid $13000 or it sight unseen.. then paid $1500 to have it shipped only to find out its a rust bucket. Now he is paying $1500 to ship it back and (according to the driver) he is only getting the $13000 back for the car.. he is out the shipping!! OUCH!!
With luck I will have happier pictures to post on Friday
