60s GT exhaust idea?
Playing with ideas that have been in my head for a long time. One of them is to run the exhaust through the rear valance like the 60's era Mustang GTs did.
I did a little photo shop (which I suck at) as an idea. Was curious if anyone had done this and if so, if they could post some pics.

Can't decide if I like it. I think camaros look better without tips personally. The camaro I've always seen as a badass, mean, street car. True duals dumped is the first thing i'd do if I had a camaro.

there was a thread that some started where they had a few valances photo chopped to do something similar.
BTW that idea was done in the Corvette before it was done on the rustang.

nice,
just last night saw a bently, same thing done, but oval tips.
maybe better tips/shape man, but either way i like it. there is no opening for the tips on camaros like on TAs so so matter what u do they just kinda hang there under the bumper...

I agree! Do several photochops with different tips, different spacing and different hole gaps to find what looks the best before you make cuts like that. I think a drill hole-saw would work well for cutting a perfectly round hole once it comes down to it. Then clean it up with a Dremel, prime/paint a VIOA!!! You have something different! Great idea. HAHA WOW, this is more of response than I expected.....
I agree that the tips are a bit too far out....
I'm also thinking that instead of cutting a true circle, it might be better to cut a half circle in the lower section so the tips inset into the rear valance....
Since my bumpers is scrapped anyways, (long story) I'm planning to try the "half circle" inset on my bumper to see how I like it.
