I thought about that. Yours looks awesome though. Nice job!

well, I shaded them too dark, so I went back and sanded them down with 2000 grit, and sprayed another light layer over them, and 3 clear coats *1 each 5 mins*

other than that, I don't know how they came out so clear/glossy?

I used 2 cans on just the rear tail lights and another can on the side markers and 3rd light. Then I used two and a half cans of clear coat on my tail lights and the other half on the rest. I just need to wet sand and it will all be done. I re-did mine today. Here is a before and after:

Before:

After:

And a few after I re-did all of my lights on my black Trans Am and clay barred it. Then I put my 99 Ws9 behind it for fun. I took this today.

Yeah most people say that. My black one is loud and shinny, so it gets lots of looks and compliments. The Ws9 is for speed. Yours looks nice though man. Good job.

I'm having a local body shop do mine. They will prep the lenses, apply even coats of translucent black followed by several coats of high quality clear, and then wetsand and buff.

for $75

I none of these are TAs but I thought I would chime in because I use VHT NS ALLLL the time! Most of my friends ask me to do it for them...

Yours came out GREAT! I have done it on my vette, my blazer, and my S10, and I also have a picture of my friends GTO I just did. I love how you can stay moderate and not put to much on and make it look like a charcoal haze or have it ALL OUT black!

Blazer (5 coats over brakes 2 coats over reverse lights)

On the brakes. The lights are still really bright!

My S10 5 coats

I got a little over zealous with the vette... 8 coats and you cant see the brake lights come on... Very dangerous but look GREAT!

My friends GTO 5 coats. Looks PERFECT!

Sorry if that was too much but I use this stuff all the time! Its pretty cool!
