tried calling them a few times, went to v-mail; going to send a e-mail to see when the planned release will occur (that is, if it occurs).

Same here - if this is the response you get when you are looking to buy something, imagine what you get when you have a problem?

I was excited about this kit over a year ago. But now I question how durable the rear panels will be. The F-body steel quarters have been known to dimple, so I'm not too sold on a fiber glass replacement panel

It's not a replacement, It's an overlay.

No, it won't be an overlay. That question has come up many times and it was not something we even considered.

We will be starting on the wide-body kit within the next couple of weeks; the shop doing the work has a couple of GM vehicles in for paint right now. You will be able to track the progress through the following two URL's:

www.sunococamaro.com

www.widebodycamaro.com

I apologize if anyone has tried to contact us and not received a response either by e-mail or phone. Just leave us a message and we will get back to you ASAP. Also, your e-mail may end up in our spam/bulk folder which is why you may not have heard from us. It happens !

I'll try to follow this thread as best I can; if you have any concerns/comments/questions I'll respond as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks,
