Default Ebay CME Tips

Ok, as everyone knows their's ebay CME tips so no need to post like and get locked.

It's awesome that someone made them but they look so bad... The guy did a great job but the place where the exhaust exist looks like plain metal (yeah, I know they are metal but like, not fancy). Is their anyway to make it look like a real tip or the SLP's or something?

Can someone make a cap or something? (ANYTHING?)

You're going to hate this, but the simplest answer would be cough up some money for a set of OEM CME tips and sell these. Then you can stop complaining.

They may look like crap in pictures but in person they look great. I get copliments on them all the time. I say the guy did an awesome job if you actually look at the tips in person. The welds are perfect, it is stainless, and they are 3".

I haven't bought them yet, and I didn't know OEM's are still sold. How much are OEM's?

Yeah, but wouldn't you agree a roll or something would look a little better?

SLP's look awesome alone in pictures.

Just took a look at them, and I agree that the thin stainless edge isnt cutting it. The flattened face edges of the cast aluminum OEM CME tips just look so much better, imo

a 3" CME with rolled tip would look great if you had the ability to extend the valance down more. mine almost sticks down too much now. I believe a 3" rolled cme would be too big with the slp valance.

Your right, the ebay ones seem thicker and they hang lower then stock

The OEM CME is out there you just have to monitor ebay and search engines(ect. craigslist,Google)... I kept searching ebay for 4 months, and finally got an actual oem cme for $300.00.

I felt the same way about those man made ones on ebay. All things considering I'm sure the craftsmanship is great and serves it's purpose, and I'm sure it DOES look better in person...I was just too scared to buy something that wasn't factory, and love the thickness of the oem...

Yeah they do but a rolled edge would be too much so if someone came out with new valance and rolled 3" CME tips they would make bank

I have seen oem tips sell for $400 on ebay. One guy was selling a whole CME for $900 on here a few days ago.
