Friend's 03 Cobra Hey..well a buddy of mine got an 03 cobra. Just sharing some pics...
He claims that the car is stock and from the factory makes 390rwhp. He says they are under-rated. It says 390 to the crank but yet he claims its to the wheels. Any opinions?? Look at the fuel injectors, they are blue. Maybe some kind of fuel system? I mean the exhaust was definetly stock and it whined very quietly..

Those fuel injectors are blue from SVO. In fact, I have blue SVO injectors waiting to go on my car 
And the blue mark on the blower means it was repaired at the dealer. I forget what the particular problem was, but if your cobra was built before a certain date, it suffered some sort of head problem that caused it to be significantly underrated. Looks like the guy before him got the dealership repair

I actually love cobras. But the LS1 is better.
Stock for stock he should beat you. Those things have great potential though, so watch out.

I'm sure others will chime in but yes the Cobras were underrated from the factory. They make 420+ to the crank and I have heard a lot of claims but I don't think I've ever seen a graph of a bone stock 390rwhp Terminator. Keep in mind that many dynos read higher/lower and some people claim an intake only car is still stock. IIRC, average dynos are around 360-375rwhp but I could be wrong.

I see he bought it from Cartec so I know he paid a pretty penny. They don't budge much on their prices of rare cars. I bought my truck from there which I didn't think I got a bad deal. Bone stock 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins for $28 with 39k on her. They were asking $33 for her. Nice looking car though

The 03' Cobras are my favorite. Of course they are fast as hell, but they just look....."Right"!
That is a very, very clean example of one of the nicer Fords....
