scratched CF interior HELP!
scratched CF interior HELP! My dog rode in my t/a for the first time last weekend and I tried to cover the console with a towel, but it slipped off and he ended up putting scratches on the carbon fiber overlay I have on it. I was just wondering if there was any good way to get those not to show as much? They are not very deep, but looks horrible when the sun reflects off of them.

yea, sorry should of mentioned...its the clearcoat part that is scratched. Just the surface of it...so Plast-X should be safe on it? Just didnt want to try something and it turn out to be hazy
if you can get your finger nail into it, it might not come out. if its clearcoated you might be able to wetsand and buff it aswell but i dont know much about carbon fiber.
Sorry for the hijack here, but say hypothetically speaking that you had a scratch that went through to the CF and some of the material "frayed" out a little bit. Anyone know what the best plan of attack at making something like this "better"?
Not much you can do there, you'd have to wetsand down to the CF, try to repair the weave, and clear over it again.
