Default Mirrors on flat black

I will receive some us mirrors soon and there need to be repainted.

My car is a 98 camaro black. So to contrast with the paint i want to do this.

What do you think?

Does someone had a pic?

Thx

So you're thinking of flat black mirrors on a shiny black car...

I think shiny black will look best for your mirrors, to match the rest of your car. Unless you do the Berger panel mod to give your car a flat black theme... but still, I personally would prefer the mirrors the same color as the rest of the car. I think it looks the best when the lines flow unbroken from the front fenders to the mirrors

If you're on a budget, you could rattle can them in shiny black, then clear coat them, then polish/wax. I've once done a repair this way on a black Corvette, and you couldn't tell the difference with the rest of the car.

I don't recall having ever seen a shiny black camaro with flat black mirrors. In any case, you can always spray one mirror in flat just to see whether you like it or not... and if you don't like it, you respray it in gloss.

They're mirrors, how much can they actually change the appearance of the car? Especially going from a gloss black to a flat black.

I understand what you are trying to do. Why don't you paint your canopy/halopart flat black with the mirrors and leave the rest of the car glossy. That would look so killer.
