Default Tint darker?

Here's my car now...

Im thinking about changing my 30% to 5% all around and doing a 50% for the front window?
Would that look good? Or am i just asking for trouble?
What would you do?

I would go darker, but I don't know about 5%. Think that would be asking for trouble plus I've heard at night it is very difficult to see out. I would be curious to see the windshield done though. I have 20% on my windows.

I went 5% on sides and theres 30% on rear hatch! I think 5% would look good on your car, and yes, you are going to run into problems like not being able to see well out the windows at night, but you get used to it...and IMO, It's worth it!

Id go with 20 on the sides and 5 out back. 15-20 is fine at night and still dark enough

Definitely darker, mine is 15% all around but nothing on the front and I like it. Though it doesn't look as good a 5% does in opinion.

I personally wouldn't tint the windshield. That would suck at night, especially when visibility may already be low due to fog or rain.

I personally don't think spending the money on getting it stripped and re-tinted would be worth the little bit darker. Perhaps tint the front window and if you don't like it take it off. It will make the whole car appear darker as well.

I've got 15% all around and nothing on the windshield and it looks good. I wanted to go 5% all around but the shop that I have my tint done at wouldn't do 5% so I got 15%. Its nice because you can see out just fine at night and I have never been hasseled about it.

Dont tint the front windshield. I like dark tint but not enough to get pulled over all the time for it. Mine has 15 on the sides and 5 out back and is plenty dark for my tastes

Go 20 on the back and keep the sides as they are, nothing on the windshield. Just darkening that huge back glass will make the whole thing darker anyway. I wouldn't go darker unless you never drive with sunglasses. You start having problems seeing people behind you in the afternoon

Go limo (5%). At night the difference between a 22% (stock tint on rear windows of suv's) and limo as far as cops and state laws go, are like comparing the stock HP between a z28 and SS. They are both very dark. Driving with 5%'s all the way around on the freeway at night making quick lane changes is a breeze because I am not blinded by others headlights and could judge their distance and speed more accurately.

p.s. Never pay anyone to remove tint that is less than three years old. It seriously took me less than 30 seconds to remove each window’s film in one piece with no left over glue. Better films are "scratch resistant" making them stronger/thicker so when time for removal it comes off in one piece. After learning how, I saved $45 for a shop to do it and I can use the money to get them tinted again until I get another ticket.
