Why are FRCs 130 dollars?
While Googling around for them I've only found a handful of sites carrying them (checked Specialized Stainless, very surprised not to see them there) and the most legitimate looking site was $129.99.
Wtf? Plastic IS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE. That's rediculous, maybe $70 dollars on the high side, but 130? Way too much.

I think you can get them for less than $28 each brand new from "a place that sells GM parts directly to you"...plus shipping of course.
12559261 is the part number for the driver's fuel rail cover.
12556455 is the part number for the passenger's fuel rail cover.

Actually, I have the drivers side brand new (that I bought from this same place and never used) for sale here for even a little cheaper: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=922637
Yes, the drivers side part number that I listed above, matches this part:

supply and demand i guess.
They dont make them anymore cuz our cars arent being made anymore(as if you guys didnt already know lol)...and the corvette conversions are pricey because of the body work required to get them to fit properly...id say someone could charge almost what ever they want cuz we may not find them anywhere else.
I think its a rip too...$200?!?!?! cmon now...im gonna make mine ooutta wood HAHA

i dont get why people complain. if you dont wanna spend for the already convereted ones then do it yourself. I spent $85 buying 97-98 FRCs off ebay and i modified them myself. I can see why someone would charge $200-$350 for ones that are custom...it takes a lot of work to get them perfect.

ya i think its a joke when i see people buying them for 80 on here when you can pay half that straight from the dealer. If you remove the air and egr buy the black ones from a 97 you only have to make one cut for the plate that holds the throttle cables and drill one hole for the dipstick.
