Hotchkis springs feel like stock ride to me. Maybe the SS had stiffer springs anyways? Still very nice and smooth, just have to watch out for dips and potholes more carefully.

Tony,
Im glad you went with the Hotchkis springs, ive advocated them for a LONG time, great ride and good stance without being a PITA to live with. I will drop down just a tad more over time as the springs "settle".. Look very nice..
So have you done anything lately to the 69 or are you too busy modding the daily????

Looks great! I definitely think there is a poster shot or two in there as well...
As for not wasting time, I thought Kyle and I were fast to cut the exhaust off about an hour after he got the car... man, you blew past that in a heartbeat. Keep us posted with more pics, I'm always in need of new wallpaper.

The next wheels will be black also. I like how they keep a similar look to the stock black-painted 10-spokes. They also match the black roof and scoope/grille decals well. I try to customize cars so that they look like they should or could have come from the factory that way.
Steve, nearing completion on the parts collecting for the '69. Probably start tearing her apart next week. Engine - Done, Supercharger - shipping out this week, brakes - shipping out next week. Subframe to be dropped off at Madmans for assembly/paint.

Nope. Aluminum block, aluminum heads, polished Magnacharger, ARE sheetmetal valvecovers (polished). stainless longtubes, Coil packs relocated. All external engine hardware will be allen head stainless. I want gawk factor bling under the hood, not OEM appearance later on I'll do the polished water pump and some nice pulleys up front like you had on the 2000.
Like THIS minus the coil packs

I have a connection to get a brand new 98 water pump.. you should get it now rather than later (only cost me $100).. this way you can do the pulley and pump proper like -- who knows how long the supply will last
Cant wait to see it Tony
