Where can I get a stinger hood for 97 TA?? i cant find them anywhere! help is greatly app.

^^Thats the one I plan on getting, however, another member on here whom is looking for that hood says that the company that sells it *American Sports Car Design* no longer is carrying them.....so searching else where, when I come across one....I'll let you all know.

As far as i know they still carry them, I just went to their site and found it, added it to my cart and went to checkout. (I didn't actually get past checkout cause I didn't wanna fill out all the info) But I never got a message saying it was out of stock or they don't sell it anymore. So I'd say if you want one thats the place to go.

The person I was referring to had actually ordered one from them.....maybe like a few weeks ago, and had to call them...and they told this person that their company doesn't carry that particular hood anymore....and they refunded said persons money....and so therefor said person is now looking for someone whom carries this hood....

...said person has a thread up similar to this one, cant remember off hand if it was here or over on LS1.com.

But, by all means...try and order from them and see if you have a different result? Don't know.........I'm on a hunt for an alternative entity that sells these hoods...cause this hood is what I want, and is part of the reason for me holding out on my new paint job!

^^agreed with both of you....I think it would look freakin sweeet on my car and on pretty much any bird! And no, I wont be doing those stripes like on the red T/A! I'm having a custom paint job done...with some special stuff that I think you all will like!!

^^Yeah if I had an LS1 WS6, thats the hood I would have....but since I have an LT1 T/A, I don't want to be like everyone else and follow the pack and get a WS6 Hood!

To each their own though....like I said IMO, the Stinger "Big Block" hood would go good with my car.

I can't stand that hood.

How come they haven't come out w/ a WS6 lt1 hood w/ heat extractors like the us exotics one?

^^Thats why they have the Ram Air hood for the LT1's, that most everyone has....or a form of the WS6 Ram Air! I tend to think outside the box and not just get something because everyone else has it! I understand that this hood is not for everyone, but thats why theres always options! ****, look how many forms of the WS6 hoods there are for the LS1 T/As and Firehawks!

Just my .11 (due to current inflation + gas) though!
