Default EuroLights Screw Pattern Doesnt Match WTF?

So I ordered the EuroLights from eurolamps or whatever. I finally got them, and one bulb was bent, and it was dead. k, no big deal, i figured theyd be crappy bulbs anyway. So guys, you know how the Trans Am screws for the headlights go THROUGH the outer metal rim around the actual glass lamp? The eurolights screws aren't anything like that, and there would be no way to mount them in, unless I drill. So many people say they use these, and now i get them and they dont work...?

Anybody use silverstars? I heard the silverstar number is different from the "4703" number we use for Firebirds. Any help with that is much appreciated.

Which one did you get? Are you sure you got the right one? I wouldn't accept damage goods. Complain to them about the damage.

There are no SilverStar bulbs for the 1998-2002 Firebird. SilverStar are not brighter anyway. They have a coating that makes the light whiter, but the coating blocks light so they are actually dimmer.

Hey VIP. Yeah I spoke with someone prior to ordering, and they showed me which one to get for a Trans Am. I sent them an email last week, I didn't get a response yet.

Also i thought ive seen a load of people getting Silverstar lamps for the T/A. they just said its not the same number as factory low beam lamps.

I didn't have any prob with mine...plus, mine didn't come with any screws, just mounted up in the same location with 0 probs! Though I have an LT T/A, but shouldn't be too different!

VIP is right about the Silverstars......IMO, they suck *** and not as bright as most people would like to think!

They are probably making a hybrid housing by removing the bulb from a replacement sealed beam and installing a H7 or other halogen bulb (I did this once with regular clear H7 bulbs).

This wouldn't matter to you though since you already bought conversion housings. Just use whatever model bulb they are supposed to use (probably H7).

I have the Eurolights conversion, I just emailed them with my car info, ie: Year, Model, etc... and they told me which one it would be and I ordered it. Came with the Conversion housing x2, H4 Bulbs x2, and the wiring harness to connect them, plus instructions.

pretty basic.....you might have gotten the wrong one for your car....like I said, mine didn't come with any screws or anything like that....mine just used the existing screws to mount up......It should be the same for the LS1 T/As!

I would try and contact Eurolights and tell them your dilemma and see if they can remedy your situation!

I'll check my emails from them and see which exact ones that I had ordered!
