ASCD Cowl hood?
Dude remember what I told you at gilberts about there being more fbodys at RMS at any given time than in the greater fresno area?
Observe my fresno thread.
Well got to go pick up my cearing orders, time to start outprocessing!
Just don't do fake ones and don't do cheap ones. You want ones with a quality striker plate, rubber washers, nice pins (I like the solid dowels with the rings) and I recommend a nice set of cables (metal but with clear protective plastic on them) everything in stainless... to do it right.
Sounds expensive but only $20-$50 for everything I am talking about... Similar to what you see on a lot of 1970ish Chevelles...

!!!If you have it all in time we can install your pins when you come down in September...
Honestly i kinda like the way a white car looks with an unpainted hood, ya weird I know, but it aint going to bother me to drive around for a while without paint.

Not the best spoiler pics but it is the same spoiler as the Dick Harrell cars...

Go here and look at pic 5 for a white one:

Damn it looks good-oh well!
No I plan on sticking with the SS Spoiler, dont care for the three inch.
You are kinda geting to mod a car that you didnt even buy!
Man I hope this looks good! Anyone ever have buyers remorse or just get nervous after buying a part?
I don't think you have anything to worry about. I still say the VFN looks better than the ASCD...
Not to mention price and quality of VFN is great...
I still want to figure out a stripe pattern for the new hood, maybe just a single stripe that spans the width of the cowl but dosent drop down to the sides. Something along those lines. What can I say I like stripes!
