Will Kerosene damage paint?
I was moving my garage heater and some leaked out the fill cap and dripped onto the cover and consequently the nose of the car underneath.
I immediately got hot water and soap and washed it down and don't see any damage, but I just wanted to confirm.

Oh yea, I damn near dropped the heater to get it off. Then I went in the house and got the hot water and soap and re-washed it.
No worries on wax, the car is practically bulletproof with all the wax and polish I have on it.

Well, I double checked it, got the cleaner wax out and went to town on the entire front end of the car. After waxing I then got the machine glaze out and went to town again.
She's all purty again. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

I think i have stage 2 h/c trees where i park, because absolutely nothing else would take the crap off. Still took 30 mins to get it off (3 spots) with the kerosene. Next time im just going to set the car on fire.

The GM Road Oil and Tar Remover has Kerosene and some other solvents in it. That stuff is the **** for removing anything...sap, oil, tar, bugs. Better that anything I've ever used.
