Body Colored Whistlers?

Anyone ever done em?
Or seen them done?

I kinda want to do the whistler mod, and was just wondering what it would look like if they were painted to match the car..
I kinda don't like the idea, but it could kinda give the same effect the C6 does..
If not i'll be going with black im sure..

Others, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure someone posted a picture here of a red Camaro with that done... It looked great, IMO...

my buddy benji's got that done in red (on his red car), I think it looks good but the rest of the F-body peeps dont seem to like it.

Since you're NBM, i think it'll look ok...but you need to have SUPER clear headlights to pull it off.

ive been wondering the same thing! i had to get my panels fixed this weekend and my buddy suggested doing the whistler mod NBM which is my body color. i was iffy at first. but if anybody had pics that would be cool.

thanks for the pics!
im just not sure what they do to sway my decision.. The white is definately different, kinda like it but personally i think i would go with black on white.. i like the contrast..
As for the blue,im really not even sure. Its quite a bit different than NBM.. but it does give a pretty good idea of how it would look.

Think i could just prep it like normal and spray the NBM through a spray gun with an air compressor? Anyone have an idea on how much some NBM would cost?

No but seriously I am not a fan of collormatched light inserts as on the C6 Corvette.. and if i had a C6(any other collor than black) I would paint them black.

all i have liked where cars without metallic just solid colors. anything with flake doesnt seem quite right...i kinda want to try it in red but all i have seen are the one with halos so i dont know
