I agree.. the CORVETTE on the brakes are fine but when combined with the vette logos on the caps its to much "vette wannabe"..

The red calipers with the black wheels on the red car is a REALLY sweet look.. and if vette calipers are good enough for a ZL1 then its good enough for a regular fbody

They aren't Vette logos on the wheels. Its just a chevy bowtie and a checker stripe next to eachother. Similar to the vette crossing flags, but not the same. They just look "Chevy".

BTW, all Camaros are "Vette wannabes"

Tony, I have seen those emblems on 82-91 Vettes. Here are some examples of the emblems as the years progressed: http://www.geocities.com/shayneandrachel/emblems8.htm

It's hard to see them on your rims though from that pic, they're too small. But what I can muster looks to me like the 1985 version on that link above. I dunno, lol.

Cool link Levi, I guess I never paid much attention to Vette wheel emblems. These look like the 1993 version without the "4" (hollow red outline bowtie). But, I still like them since they just have a bowtie on them.

I'm not worried about having Corvette parts on a Camaro. We always get the Vette leftovers. Like the LS1 engine, the T56 tranny, even SS 5-spokes are Vette leftovers. Vette technology always trickles down to lil bro. These are good hand-me-downs though

You must not have ever seen Corvette calipers in person. They "Corvette" is actually cast into the front of the caliper, it sticks out about an 1/8" inch from the surface. They aren't just decals, they would have to be ground off and re-powdercoated. NOT "easy".

Besides, I like the Corvette calipers, it shows that they have been upgraded from stock, instead of just "decaled"

Just leave the banners on the wheel centercaps. They're GrandSports ('vette wheels)anyway right?

Camaros have C5 powerplants so why not have C5 brakes to bring all that power to a safe stop!

I'm putting the complete C5 brake setup on my SS - plus all 2002 ZL1 Supercars came with C5 brakes.

Hey Tony.. did you use the Z06 pads too?

Reason I ask.. the top "spring" that hold the pads inplace isn't a direct swap... and the damn thing only comes with the pad set.
