Sorry lrry but I think your way off base on this. They are just stripes plain and simple.

Lets keep this thread about the stripes and hood, not about lrry's opinion. Keep it on target.

Im with everyone that says it's your car, do what you want. Now if youre looking to have a car that everyone likes than dont put em on.

I have never went off topic about the LE stripes but thank you for your concern.

The OP wasn't asking for your opinion on putting stripes on, he was asking how gunmetal stripes would look with a sunoco hood. If I'm not mistaken you provided YOUR OPINION on 35th stripes on non 35th cars. You missed the mark my friend. Don't try to argue about it either. Just drop it.
