Default Rear view mirrior change..
has anyone upgraded thier rear view mirrios like the ones from GMMG, with the compass, temp and lens dimmer??? will the ones from tahoe and silverados work with an upgrade to the outside temp sensor....

It will work, but it does not have map lights. All you will have is the rear hatch light.

I wish I wouldn't have seen this, now I want one. I have a $250 gift certificate to Summit, but i dont know what to spend it on.

I have one out of an 08 silverado in my car with the temp,compass and auto dim. I bought a custom harness of ebay. Search for gentex harness. I put the temp sensor near the foglight. Like the others said you lose the maplights. I am going to install courtesy lights under the dash. This was one of the slickest mods I've done.

dang for 250 bucks I imagine you could find one out a wrecked tahoe or something for cheap and buy a harness
