looks really good. Is there a place you can test this thing out on, realistically?

also you could make tons of money if you made sail panels, due to all the bubbling going on. im not saying mold it to the targa top or redesign the sail panel or anything stupid just a replacement because they are hard to find.. just a thought

Looks great mark!
You know its really a shame the way the economy is, otherwise Im sure you would probably be selling out of stock.

Holy crap I found a red bowtie for you guys:

Same one used on the GMMG Hot Rod cars:

So, I can do a Group Purchase if you guys/gals want...

I will make 20 and only 20 grills but you can choose ANY option you want:

1993-1997 BLACK Grill w/Blue Bowtie
1993-1997 POLISHED (face) Grill w/Blue Bowtie
1993-1997 BLACK Grill w/Red Bowtie
1993-1997 POLISHED (face) Grill w/Red Bowtie

1998-2002 BLACK Grill w/Blue Bowtie
1998-2002 POLISHED (face) Grill w/Blue Bowtie
1998-2002 BLACK Grill w/Red Bowtie
1998-2002 POLISHED (face) Grill w/Red Bowtie

Now, let me answer your questions before you ask them:

"Can I buy just an emblem?" No.

"Can I buy just a grille?" Maybe, PM me.

"Will you have these available after I pay my student loans, bail my mom out of jail and pay off my dog's sex change surgery?" NO. You want it then buy it now.

Price would be $200 shipped.
No one wants to give me a bulk discount on these d@mn emblems. Not getting a deal on the grilles either, just saving on shipping because I can pick them up...

I MIGHT make $10 a piece off of these but for an order of 20 it adds up. It would have to be all or nothing and they would all ship at the same time (from the time of GP close it should take one week to have it all together and out).

So, while I am waiting on an answer to make SURE I can get these parts, who would DEFINITELY BE IN (ready to paypal now) and for what type of grille?

If there is enough interest I'll make a GP thread and get it all started... Ball is in your court my peeps

Too bad I like my SLP grille or I'd be all over this! Good luck with it.

So if you have sub frame connectors it would be safe to cut out the T-Bar and make it a real targa?

I know if you get enough made you can sell the red bowties alone for $80/ea. I would buy one for that in a heartbeat.

If not, find a guy that just wants a grill w/o an emblem and I'll pay for the emblem part of it

I have the red bowtie that you have pictured above. It seems bigger than the blue bowties that you see on the grills, hence why I have not used it. If anyone wants a red bowtie emblem, let me know, I'll sell the one I have.

I love the work you've done so far. Looks great, but I do have to be a bit of a critic. Do you think it's possible to mold the sail panel to match the lines on the top? I love the top, just don't like the way the lines abruptly end at the sail. Sorry if this has already been covered, but I'm on dial up, and I don't have time to go through the whole thing.

Other than that, it's awesome, and I'd be interested if it's ready by around the turn of the year.
