wow that is just sick as hell.

i've always wanted to do a targa conversion, and while this is for t-tops, you said you had targa conversions in the works? would it be possible to produce this is a flat hardtop version for z28 guys? if i did end up doing the targa top conversion, would this be fine as the roof at highway speeds do you think?

i read about 5 pages and didn't see anything in the way of my questions, so sorry if i'm repeating. mad props though dude, you're doing an awesome job.

So you're having these powdercoated yourself? Any chance on getting it powdercoated satin black instead of gloss?

although VFN is a reputable company on the boards. There production on new products is SLOWWWW because they have so much going on. IMO I wouldnt go with them on making this unless you want the first one done when you dont have sponsorship anymore.

That looks great on the WS6, I've been hoping you would get something going for the 'Birds Since you seem to have the resources you might want to look at coming out with your own version of the Brian Green Ram Air funnel for WS6 hoods I think you would recoup a lot of cash with that alone and it should be relatively cheap to create.

You made your point, you love your cheap Ebay grille. I've had bad experience with them and don't feel comfortable selling them to the public.

How the hell could I charge $130 for a grill that costs me $120 (if I order 10 or less, $110 if I order 11-20) and an emblem that is $60 + shipping???

take a chill pill bro. no one was offending you.

are you going to have some sort of support structure built into the fiberglass? i worry about it bowing up at speed and catching air if its just fiberglass.

I've been told a thick top skin is plenty strong but we're working on a bottom frame skin regardless.

At the very least, the top skin would have a thin metal frame laid inside of it...

If it doesn't work at triple digits we aren't selling it

Flat hardtop won't happen. Making a piece, having a mold made, etc... Is expensive. Hence us choosing a middle of the road design. Only one design for everyone.

Besides, most people who really want a flat roof (especially starting with a hardtop) can take the hardtop and have it reproduced in something...

Damn looks pretty good. Wish i could see a body-matched painted one. Just looks a little weird around the door windows. Other than that, looks sick.

Sorry man, Im gonna be that guy and tell you Im not a huge fan. And one look at your car and it looks like the vette. Not that thats bad or anything but these cars aren't vettes and they shouldn't be made to look like vettes. On a side note, for the Trans Am's, you should make the targa top the same width of the hood where it dips down in the middle. Might look a little bit better. just my .02

really? I could use my existing roof skin to make a targa top? i had thought about it but people said no matter what i did it would probably bow in at high speeds...

I guess i'll wait anyways... it might flow well with my sunoco.

No problem man, to each his own. I feel you, I was going to change my rims afterwards so I didn't have too much Vette stuff...

Although, the new Camaro has the same rough
