They are like 6' x 4'. Oil prices went up which meant ABS went up. One sheet of plastic is like $130 before shipping (Google it). Then it has to be cut. Hardware and now spacers come with the kit and finally shipping is right at $100 (WITH my discount) including packaging.
Profit is about $25... I do GP's so that I can order in bulk, get a discount on materials and pass the savings on to you guys. GP or not my profit is about the same.
And that does NOT include paying almost $300 a month to be a sponsor on tech and actually get it to you guys.
SOOOO... please stop b!tching about the price

Our bumpers extend more than theirs (from the tires) to begin with and then I'm adding a few inches with the splitter.
Not to mention the design. Theirs just bolts to holes you drill in the bumper. Mine is designed to bolt on using mostly factory bolts AND aid instead of impede air flow to the air dam.
I could do C5's, GTO's, Mustangs all for like $150 shipped... Our cars just are dimensionally a beotch

Yeah, the splitter for GTO's (which started this all) is $150 shipped. It is HALF the size though.

my whole lid, under my radiator support and in front where the air comes in from the nostrils fo the hood is all sealed! So i have the FTRA working for me. Least path of resistance so my car sucks in all the air from under the car... But how will the chin spolier help???

I had an idea the other day while I was at work.
Any way you could make a diaper/belly pan for our cars? It would keep the engine bay sooo much cleaner. Pop the hood of any bimmer and you'll notice how clean it is, even when the last time it was cleaned was at the dealer before it was sold.
Only problem with that is that you might have to bend some pieces so that it would contour around random parts.

I made something like this for my LT1. I got a 12"x12" sheet of ABS, cut it, sanded the corners and it fit in my cassette holder.. I had plans to make it like a "door". As anyone with an LT1 knows, whenever you go full throttle, or hell, even half throttle, all the cd's and crap you have in there flies out at about 15 mph and you never find it again. I still have the abs cutout i made. it's a little rough, but i've never been good with my hands on things i've never done before.
If you want, I can ship it to you... it probably isn't the perfect fit, but i had it setup and didn't look bad at all really.. i just didn't use a good latching system on the door and it flew open at WOT anyways

It splits the air, keeps it from going under so there is less turbulence so it goes over the splitter. On Trans-Ams, over the splitter will be a gap between the splitter and bumper, supported by cylindrical air foils that will be funneling air directly into your FTRA...
