Default How Do I Get Rid Of Water Spots On Windows?

I have a 2000 WS.6 and all the windows including t-tops are stained with water spots, has anyone had any luck taking water spots off? My brother says I should use CLR, but I don't want to damage my windows in anyway. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd try a clay bar first, then a water/vinager mix. CLR might work, but not sure what it would do to the paint.

I have the same thing on my T-Roof.

I'm curious to know what will work as well.

Will newspaper do the trick?

Razor blade. Takes two seconds. And yes, a razor blade will not scratch glass.

There is no way a straight edge razor blade will do anything to the glass.

This is what tinters use to clean windows and detailers use to remove stickers from them.

Wheel Acid wipes them off like windex,if they are extremely bad you have to rub a little. Been using it for over 10 years in my detailing business. I buy it in bulk but I'm sure you can find it in smaller quantities. We can normally do a whole car in 20 minutes or less. You will want to go back with some sort of sealer(ie: rainx or a polymer sealer of some sort) If it gets on the paint just wipe it off within a few seconds( you can cut it 50/50 with water and use it to remove spots on clear coat as well)

I live in Hawaii for 3 year detailing car and i made big $ getting rid of water spots on glass. You need liquid metal polish and some fine grade 0000 steel wool! Use it going side to side, NOT CIRCLES! Never made one scratch and made windows look new! I even do it to my personal cars

I use Eagle 1 wire and chrome wheel cleaner and SOS pad. Spray Eagle 1 on glass, wet SOS and lightly rub glass. Rinse off with water and wipe dry and no waterspots, no scratches, and new looking glass!

Try clay bar 1st, then if that doesnt work, then MAYBE FINE steel wool with the appropriate lubricant.

Darn! I didn't read the part about not going in circles with the steel wool and liquid metal polish, but it did get the water spots off.
